Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Be a current student, recent graduate, or someone with relevant work experience to share
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

Account Responsibilities

When you create an account on the Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your account information updated and accurate at all times
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and not share your account with others
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Content Guidelines

When submitting reviews, reports, or other content to the Platform, you must:

Do's

• Share honest, accurate information based on your actual experience
• Be constructive and provide helpful feedback
• Respect the privacy of others
• Focus on facts and your personal experience
• Report only genuine concerns about employers or job postings

Don'ts

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content about employers
• Include confidential business information, trade secrets, or proprietary data
• Share personal information about specific individuals (names, contact details, etc.)
• Use profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• Post content that is harassing, threatening, or abusive
• Submit fake reviews or reviews for employers you have not worked for
• Attempt to manipulate ratings through multiple accounts or coordinated efforts
• Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, harmful, or in violation of applicable law.

User Responsibilities

As a user of the Platform, you agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Platform
• Not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
• Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
• Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Platform without permission
• Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Student Job Platform and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By submitting content to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. You retain ownership of your content.

Platform Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Content Disclaimer

Reviews, reports, and other user-generated content on the Platform represent the opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of Student Job Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content.

The Platform is designed to help students share information and make informed decisions. However, you should conduct your own research and due diligence before making employment decisions.

Employment Disclaimer

We are not an employment agency and do not guarantee employment or specific outcomes. Information on the Platform is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Student Job Platform and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Platform
• Any content or conduct of third parties on the Platform
• Any employment decisions made based on information from the Platform
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Student Job Platform and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations are unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
